Art Direction and Branding

Tasked with an asset library, our team was determined to push the boundaries of the Volkswagen brand with the ID.Buzz launch. The previous teaser was entirely computer generated animations that highlighted the two tone split of the vehicle’s design. Our brainstorm started with a broad spectrum of ideas but we landed on the idea of aligning the horizon line with the vehicle’s paint job. We set about this monumental task by scouring for possible locations, aligning a plethora of mockups to the perfect pixel and slowly building the client’s confidence in the final result. The photographs are used by dealerships, partners, and websites for a range of designs and layouts.
